Refund & Cancellation Policy

Vrindavan T-20  |  Effective date: 24 October 2026

1

Purpose

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions applicable to player registration payments made through the official Vrindavan T-20 Website. The currently published player registration fee is ₹1,000 plus 18% GST, making the total payment ₹1,180.

2

Player Registration Fees

The Website states that the player registration fee is a one-time payment and is non-refundable once registration starts, subject to applicable law and the published tournament terms.

Accordingly, registration fees are generally not refundable merely because:

  • A player changes their mind after registering.
  • A player becomes unavailable or decides not to participate.
  • A player provides incorrect details and requests cancellation.
  • A player is not selected by a franchise, team or selection panel.
  • A player fails to complete the registration process after making payment, except where a refund is required under this Policy or applicable law.

The Organiser may review exceptional cases at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

3

Duplicate or Failed Payments

If a player is charged more than once for the same registration, or a payment is deducted without a corresponding successful transaction:

  • The player should contact the Organiser with the transaction reference, payment date, amount and registered mobile number.
  • The Organiser will verify the transaction with the payment service provider.
  • Confirmed duplicate payments or payments for failed transactions will be refunded or reversed where appropriate.
  • The refund will be processed through the original payment method wherever practicable and in accordance with payment provider procedures and applicable law.

Bank or payment-provider processing times may vary.

4

Cancellation by the Organiser

If the Organiser cancels the Tournament entirely, it will communicate the applicable arrangements to registered players. The Organiser will determine and communicate the refund process for affected registrations, taking into account the reason for cancellation, the services already provided, the payment terms and applicable law. Any refund required by law will be provided accordingly.

If individual matches, venues or schedules change but the Tournament continues, a change alone will not automatically entitle a player to a refund unless required by applicable law or expressly announced by the Organiser.

5

Postponement or Rescheduling

  • The Organiser will endeavour to notify registered players through the contact details supplied during registration.
  • Registration may remain valid for the revised dates if communicated by the Organiser.
  • Refund requests arising from postponement will be assessed under the arrangements announced for the rescheduled Tournament and applicable law.
6

Incorrect Registration Information

Players are responsible for checking their registration information before submission. Where a correction is required, players should contact the Organiser promptly. Requests to correct information will be considered subject to verification and operational requirements. A correction request does not automatically qualify for a refund.

7

How to Request a Refund

Send an email to contact@vrindavant20.com with the following information:

  • Full name of the registered player.
  • Registered mobile number and email address.
  • Payment amount and date.
  • Transaction ID, UPI reference or Razorpay payment reference.
  • Reason for the refund request.
  • Relevant payment receipt or supporting evidence.

For security reasons, do not email card PINs, passwords, CVVs or OTPs.

8

Refund Review and Processing

The Organiser will acknowledge and review refund requests within a reasonable period. Where a refund is approved, it will be initiated within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law and the payment provider's procedures. The time taken for the amount to appear in the player's account may depend on the bank or payment service provider. Where a request is declined, the player may contact the Organiser for clarification.

9

Taxes and Refund Amounts

Where a refund is legally due, the treatment of the base fee and GST will be handled in accordance with applicable tax rules and the relevant transaction documentation.

10

Third-Party Payment Providers

Payments may be processed by Razorpay or another authorised payment service provider. Payment processing is subject to that provider's applicable terms. This Policy does not limit any rights a player may have under applicable law or the payment provider's mandatory procedures.

11

Policy Amendments

The Organiser may revise this Policy when necessary. The current version will be published on the official Website. Changes will not override mandatory legal rights or retrospectively remove an entitlement to a refund where prohibited by law.
